61. 42 Gateacre Brow, Former Flock and Felt Factory, Liverpool 25
(Woolton Ward)
The Committee considered a recommendation in relation to the former
Flock and Felt Factory, 42 Gateacre Brow, Liverpool 25, that -
(a) Application No. 06F/0294 to undertake demolitions, alterations,
refurbishment and extensions; to convert former brewery to 9 no.
flats; to erect 2x3 storey blocks of 4 flats and 9 no. flats at rear
(22 units in total); retain no 42 as single dwelling and layout 22
space car park at rear be granted subject to the conditions
proposed by the Planning Manager and a legal agreement;
(b) Application No. 06L/0298 to undertake demolitions, alterations,
refurbishments and extensions in connection with conversion of
former brewery to flats, retention of No. 42 as single dwelling be
granted subject to the conditions proposed by the Planning
Manager; and
(c) Application No. 06C/0291 to carry out works of demolition on
various buildings at rear (including ventilation tower and storage
buildings) be granted subject to the conditions proposed by the
Planning Manager.
The Planning Manager reported that -
