The 28th A.G.M. of the Gateacre Society will be held on Tuesday 22nd October 2002, starting at 8 p.m., in the Chapel Hall, Sandfield Road, Liverpool L25.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive reports on the year's activities, to approve the Accounts, to elect a Committee for the coming year, and to allow members to have their say on local issues. Please make every effort to attend this important meeting, and encourage friends and neighbours to attend, especially those who may be willing to fill the vacant places on our Committee.

This year we shall particularly be remembering Lionel Shepherd - always an A.G.M. regular - and discussing ways in which the Society could commemorate him.
