PROUD OF OUR ROOTS
On 1st March Beryl Plent and Sandra Sandland were celebrating Belle Vale's history in the Belle Vale Shopping Centre, with photos and memories. Many of the shoppers they met enthusiastically reminisced about their lives in and around Belle Vale, and were encouraged to write up their memories for the Shopping Centre's 'Proud of My Roots' campaign.

The aim is for past and present residents of the area to participate, with a chance of their memories being featured on the commemorative wall which will be installed in the central Mall later this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the centre's opening. This wall will be a permanent display for everyone to view. For more information visit the Belle Vale Shopping Centre website - www.belle-vale.co.uk
- or look for the 'Proud of My Roots' box near the passenger lift inside the Centre.
