All members and prospective members of the Gateacre Society are encouraged to attend our A.G.M., which takes place in Gateacre Unitarian Chapel, Gateacre Brow, Liverpool L25 3PB on SUNDAY 13th OCTOBER 2013, starting at 2pm.

This is intended as a social event rather than just a business meeting. It's a chance to meet your neighbours and discuss matters of local concern, including what the Society should be doing during the coming year. As usual, complimentary refreshments will be available. Our existing Committee members will also be putting together a presentation highlighting what the Society has achieved in recent years - regarding heritage interpretation, media coverage, building conservation, tree protection, green space, traffic issues, advertising signage, etc. If you have any pictures of Gateacre Society events, outings, tree-planting, clean-ups, Heritage Open Days or other activities, please bring them along.

We are keener than ever, this year, for members to come forward and join the Committee. If, for example, you are new to the area or are newly retired, please think about helping us even on a trial basis. (Committee meetings take place every 6 weeks or so, currently on Monday evenings).
