With over 16,000 items, Liverpool's World Museum in William Brown Street has one of the largest Egyptology collections in the UK and is of international importance. This lecture will spotlight key artefacts in the collection and give an overview of the history of Egyptology in Liverpool. Dr Ashley Cooke is Head of Antiquities at National Museums Liverpool and an Honorary Research Fellow of Liverpool University.
