VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Are you interested in local history?
The Society inherited a large quantity of documents from the late Janet Gnosspelius, which are potentially of enormous value to future historians. These need sorting, indexing and - in some cases - transcribing onto computer to make them accessible. Please contact us if you are able to help.
Are you interested in brightening up Gateacre village?
The Friends of Gateacre have been active for 11 years now, organising clean-up days and spring/summer planting in and around the village centre. If you would like to help, please attend their next meeting which is on Wednesday 9th September, 7.15pm, at the Gateacre Institute, Grange Lane. For further details visit www.friendsofgateacre.org
