Roger focused on the &#8220;Great American Songbook&#8221; of the early 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century. He gave us a brief history of his musical career from the late 1940&#8217;s onwards becoming inspired by the Blues scene of the American South and Tin Pan Alley of 1920&#8217;s New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roger featured and performed music by Jerome Kern, Goerge Gerswhin, Cole Porter, Richard Rogers and Irving Berlin covering many of the classic films 1950&#8217;s-1960&#8217;s including Oklahoma, Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roger obviously enjoys his career\/hobby and could have given us 2 hours instead of one.
