Monday 21st March,
7.30pm in Gateacre Chapel: Gateacre Society film show presented by Ian Davies, 'This in Our Time'. More details in the next Newsletter.

Friday 25th March,
7pm at Gateacre Institute: Friends of Gateacre fundraising Quiz Night - Raffle and Buffet Supper. Payment on the door - £5 per person.

Monday 11th April,
7.30pm in Gateacre Chapel: Gateacre Society talk by Mike Murphy, 'The Terrible Tale of Gin'. More details in the next Newsletter.

Saturday-Sunday 23rd-24th April,
10am-5pm at St George's Hall, Liverpool: BBC Radio Merseyside's Big History Weekend.

Saturday 25th June:
Civic Day, when civic societies all over England will invite people to celebrate their area and discover more about where they live.

The Gateacre Society has been invited to participate in the last two events listed above, but we have not yet finally decided whether to do so. We would very much like to hear from any member - or prospective member - who feels able to help us with activities such as exhibitions, competitions, etc.
