Further to our October 2015 report, Liverpool City Council has now published a draft Traffic Regulation Order for 'Area 3'. Notices are posted on lampposts, and the deadline for any objections is 14th April. We have identified a number of anomalies in the scheme, which will see a 20mph speed limit imposed on most (but not all) of Gateacre's residential streets. The map below is said to indicate the latest proposals - though the list of streets covered by the draft Order does not appear to be entirely consistent with this map.
