Also known as Little Woolton and Childwall CE School, This establishment closed on 31 August 1990 and is now apartments called St Stephen’s Court.
In 1877, Andrew Barlcay Walker had provided land in Halewood Road for a new Church of England school, and converted the old school building in Grange Lane into a reading room, later to become the Gateacre Institute.
